The Kaspersky Commonwealth Women's Antarctic Expedition

Months - months before reaching the Antarctic ice, the state women's team - the Commonwealth has faced a very tough challenge. If the team can not obtain sufficient funds, then their ambition to reach the South Pole was only a dream. At the official launch of the Commonwealth Kaspersky Antarctic Expedition, five of the eight team members gathered to celebrate the realization of their dreams that will bring them into the world in January 2010.

This team is a selection of over 500 applicants with eight members of the Commonwealth, namely: Britain, Cyprus, Ghana, India, Jamaica, New Zealand and Singapore.

The women will be divided into two teams consisting of four women to a different Antarctic coast and drove to the South Pole. They will explore as far as 500 miles in the least environmentally friendly on Earth, holding the temperature of minus 40 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds reaching more than 80mph,red evening dresses, and dangerous recesses beneath the ice and snow storm of confusion and lasted for days at a time.

These women will pull sledges containing all the food, fuel, and equipment they need for the trip. Camping on the ice while they slept, dehydrated rations to survive the mild and melting snow. Without a guide, they will depend on each other to direct them to the South Pole with a safe,long formal dresses.

When the two teams met at the South Pole in the early years, angota-member team from Cyprus, Ghana, Brunei Darussalam, and Jamaica will be the first representatives of their countries (both men and women) who drove to the South Pole, while team members from India, Singapore, and New Zealand will become the first woman in their country sliding into the South Pole.
