Spring/summer collection: Pasticceria Cappello (named after a wonderful cake shop in Palermo).

One balmy afternoon, we visited Dot amid her autumn/winter fitting with golden-haired model Jorgia short prom dress. Summer days filled our thoughts and the Sydney designer happily obliged off the shoulder dress. She retold her Italian stay and summertime collection, inspired by sweet cakes plus size halloween costumes, latte cups and marble sculptures.

She likes Italy best black evening gowns, because nobody says a word when you add sugar to your espresso. Her friends call her Dot and she spends her time designing for her eponymous label wedding cake accessories, vintage dresses.
