Please post in the comments below.

Where (do you find them): The beach, on the side of the road (discarded). Op-shops. (That's Aussie for thrift store cheap party dresses.)

Isn't Earth Day magical? Be sure to visit her Earth affirming and her inspiring and beautiful for more moving expressions of the natural in our world.

To celebrate this week, hope you'll just love this beautiful collection of beach detritus with the wonderful .

Eco living is true magic beaded tops, indeed. Here's to eco artists, our handmade magicians, who celebrate Earth Day, everyday!

Who (are you): Helle Jorgensen, a.k sweetheart wedding gowns.a.

Such is certainly the case with today's mesmerizing collection of beach detritus with artist . I'm so struck by the sheer beauty of her seashore findings and the way she's charmingly crafted pieces of garbage into meaningful art with her collection lace plus size dresses.

Why (do you love them): I love the beauty and complexity of the natural objects from the beach. The bird's nests are exquisitely made and are full of symbolism. The concrete pots come in weird and wonderful shapes and have an interesting patina. The truck names are just plain silly. The discarded plastic bags are a great medium for my crocheted sculptures. (Editor's Note: , anyone?)

What (else do you collect): Friends!

Happy Earth Day, magicians!

How (many do you have prom ball gowns?): Too many to count flower girl dresses.

What (‘s an interesting story behind one): One of my favourite nests is lined with soft fluffy white fur. I found it on the grass very close to a house where a little Maltese terrier lives. Its master brushes its coat and throws the fur into the garden, where the birds find it and bring it home to their nests.

Where (do you keep them): In my workroom in boxes, on display in the living room, or the garden.

So wonderful, Gooseflesh, thank you!

What (piece would you like to add): Pink cheap evening dresses, orange and red discarded plastic bags.
