State grant money will enable the Franklin County Sheriff'sDepartment to expand its traffic patrols.Sheriff Gary Toelke said the department recently received agrant totaling $331,669 from the Missouri Department ofTransportation,Guess women watches.The grant money will allow the department to put three newpatrol cars and deputies on the road to aggressively enforcetraffic laws, Toelke said.He said the money will pay for purchasing and equipping thethree new patrol cars, as well as pay the salaries and benefits ofthree patrol officers.In addition to expansion of the traffic unit with the grantfunds,Guess online, the Sheriff's Department will combine two communityrelations deputies and two traffic enforcement deputies to staffthe unit with a total of seven officers,Guess Shoes.Toelke said that education and enforcement of traffic laws willbe the primary function of the traffic unit.
