The Monsoon session that began July 26 will end Friday. Many of the items on the to do list at the start of the session remain to be done. Here s a quick look at what might unfold in the three working days that remain (parliament is closed Tuesday for Raksha Bandhan).1. The Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage Bill, 2010: It seemed like this session would come to an end without any action on this controversial piece of legislation that would make it possible for U.S. firms to do business here. But then on Friday the Cabinet agreed to increase the liability cap for local nuclear plant operators in the event of an accident. A parliament statement on Saturday mentioned consideration and passing of this bill as one of the pieces of business to be deal with in this session. Status: Waiting for the government to introduce it. 2.
